Elios 3 warranty
Warranty coverage
The Elios 3 warranty covers all the malfunctions that could reveal along the life of the product, arising from software or equipment included in the packages, with respect to the exceptions below:
Battery
Battery warranty is 12 months or 50 cycles, whichever comes first
Propulsion system
Motors warranty is 12 months and up to 50 hours of flight time¹
Propellers²
Not covered by the warranty
Cage elements, cable ties²
Not covered by the warranty
¹: Flight time is measured based on motor operation, not the drone’s total flight time
²: Extra pieces provided with the product at delivery
In case of malfunction during the warranty period, Flyability commits, to its option, to repair the defective product/part or to deliver to its customer an equivalent replacement.
Conditions for validity
For customers to be able to claim the warranty of Elios 3, the drone must have been operated by a pilot who has successfully completed the Elios 3 Introductory Training prior to use.
The equipment needs to be used in normal conditions and maintained per recommended prescriptions which include:
Propellers are changed every 10 flight hours, or whenever they are slightly damaged.
Motors are changed every 50 flight hours.
Batteries have less than 50 cycles.
Any damage on the Camera lens due to improper cleaning of the lens is not covered by the warranty.
Damage due to improper use or lack of basic maintenance and cleaning will not be covered by the warranty.
Warranty duration
The Elios 3 Light and Premium packages include a warranty of 12 months from activation or 18 months from delivery, whichever comes first.
The Elios 3 Enterprise package includes a warranty of 24 months from activation or 30 months from delivery, whichever comes first.
In both cases, products first used more than 6 months after delivery will have a reduced warranty period.
